TWO TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION(S): 2008-2009
The School of Education at Pace University is a growing and thriving setting for new faculty members seeking a collegial work environment and the New York City experience! With a dynamic and supportive new University President, the School of Education is seeking two full-time tenure track faculty membersto teach in our outstanding undergraduate and graduate education programs on our Pleasantville and New York City campuses. We are searching for Associate/Assistant Professor(s) with expertise in literacy, childhood education, English as a Second Language, and technology. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in two or more of those areas.
Who Should Apply?
Educators with:
- Doctorate in childhood education, literacy, educational technology, TESOL, bilingual education, and curriculum and instruction. (ABD candidates who will complete degree requirements by August 2008 will also be considered).
- Public school teaching experience
- Record of and evidence of potential for continued scholarship and professional/community service commensurate with the rank of assistant or associate professor

Assistant Professor of Teacher Education (Tenure Track)
The Teacher Education Department offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, talented and well-organized individual to join its faculty. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses as well as administrative duties.
We are seeking an individual with a strong background in ESL. A doctorate in the field is preferred, but those with related backgrounds and experience will be considered, including those who are ABD. K-12 teaching experience and NYS certification are highly desirable. Join a collaborative and friendly department with a strong undergraduate program and a well-established graduate program in Urban and Multicultural Education.
